SINGAPORE, April 12 — After witnessing a 22-year-old man slash two others and flee, a 25-year-old bouncer gave chase in his car and knocked the other man down three times in a bid to detain him.
Today, Aaron Chua Jun Hao pleaded guilty today to one charge of causing hurt by acting rashly.
Chua was chasing Shaun Koh Kim Guan, who was subsequently arrested and accused of stabbing a two men, aged 32 and 33, with a foldable knife.

Four F&B outlets ordered shut for Covid-19 breaches over CNY, 234 people fined


SINGAPORE - Club One Min in Concorde Shopping Mall and Jin Jin Eating House in North Bridge Road are among four food and beverage outlets ordered to close for breaching safe management measures (SMM) after stepped-up inspections during the Chinese New Year period.
Thirteen outlets were also fined for breaching these measures, and 234 people were fined for failing to follow safe distancing at parks and beaches, the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) said on Wednesday (Feb 24).
Second offender One Min was found to have allowed gatherings of more than eight people, and provided hostesses who intermingled with patrons on Feb 19.

Government agencies have stepped up checks on food and beverage (F&B) outlets and public spaces during the Lunar New Year period.
During this period, four F&B outlets were ordered to close, while another 13 were fined for breaching safe management measures (SMM).
234 individuals were also penalised for breaching SMM at parks and beaches.
Four F&B outlets close
One outlet was closed for breaching SMM allowing gatherings of more than eight, while three were closed for allowing diners to consume alcohol after 10.30pm:
