Brazilian goal machine Bobo will be back in Sky Blue this season after Sydney re-signed the record-breaking striker in pursuit of a third title on the trot.
Bobo broke the record for most goals in a season in 2017/18 when he struck 27 times in 27 A-League games and 36 times in 37 matches across all competitions.
Now 35, Sydney's 2017/18 Player Of The Year is back in the harbour city after stints at Alanyaspor in Turkey and Hyderabad FC in India... and says he’s thrilled at the chance to do it all over again.
“I enjoyed every moment of my time at Sydney FC, we had a hugely successful two seasons and I want that again,” he said.

The Sky Blues squad have been together for five weeks having flown to Qatar to compete in the AFC Champions League in mid-November.
Head Coach Steve Corica and players Calem Nieuwenhof, Harry Van der Saag, Patrick Wood and Levi Kaye, who all live on the peninsula, will spend the next few days in city hotels or with family members in others suburbs.
The decision will keep them out of the COVID-19 hotspot and allow them to train and potentially travel inter-state depending on developments.
