The US Coast Guard said Friday that four bodies have been recovered so far from the water near a commercial vessel that capsized earlier this week several miles south of Port Fourchon, Louisiana.
Divers recovered two more unresponsive people Friday. On Thursday, an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew spotted a person in the water at 7:10 p.m. while searching the area, the Coast Guard said. The Coast Guard cutter Benjamin Dailey recovered the man and transported him to Coast Guard Station Grand Isle where he was pronounced dead. The body of one man ....

Commercial divers were able to gain access to the lift boat and locate two unresponsive crew members, the Coast Guard updated Friday evening.

The Lafourche Parish Coroner s Office identified two Seacor Power crew members found unresponsive Friday evening.
53-year-old Anthony Hartford of New Orleans, and 55-year-old James Wallingsford of Gilbert, according to the Coroner s Office on Saturday, were found after commercial divers gained access to the lift boat. Sign up for our Newsletters

The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Glenn Harris, a pre-commissioned 154- foot Fast Response Cutter, pulls a person from the water on April 13, 2021, after a 175- foot commercial lift boat capsized 8 miles south of Grand Isle, Louisiana.
Rescue divers searching the Seacor Power, a commercial vessel that capsized earlier this week off Louisiana, have pulled two more bodies from the lift boat’s engine room.
The Coast Guard would not release their names but confirmed Donjon Marine commercial divers found the crew members unresponsive on Friday, the fourth straight day of search efforts. Prior to the tragic discovery, some had expressed hope the pair would pulled alive from the room, located on the port-side of the vessel. ....
