EDITOR: John Meyer s editorial call for the immediate resignation of Rep. David Rouzer was poignant but about 16 months too late. 
On September 11, 2019, Rouzer voted against the Coastal Marine Economic Protection Act, H.R 1941. Though Rouzer had recently moved to Wilmington and proclaimed himself a supporter of environmental issues , when it came to a real vote, he showed his true colors. In spite of the fact that the bill passed in the House by a vote of 238 to 189 including 12 Republicans, Rouzer voted nay.  ....
