flydubai to start flights to Albaniaâs capital of Tirana from March 28

flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, will start flights to Tirana, the capital of Albania and with this will become the first UAE-based airline to offer direct flights on this route. The airline will operate two flights a week between Dubai International (DXB) and Tirana International Airport (TIA) from March 28.
Commenting on the announcement, Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO, flydubai, said, âAs countries within our flying radius lift travel restrictions, we continue to look for new opportunities to connect previously underserved markets to Dubai. We are pleased to be the first UAE-based airline to operate direct flights between Dubai and Tirana.â ....

The airlines tell cnn during the flight the cabin crew became aware that one of the passengers boarded the incorrect flight and notify the pilot. as part of the security procedure, they say the pile in command decided to return to the originating airport where the passenger was disembarked. an aviation source tells me this was an administrative mix-up that s being is it explained, but it s unclear what the mix-up up. though they re not saying it s a security breach, it does raise a question how does a person that didn t belong on the flight get on? we all know the boarding passes are scanned at the gate. we know that the airline does have a code share with united airlines. there was another code share flight that was leading at the very same time from l.a.x. ....

You get on the plane. many times the pilot says we re going to, in this case, tokyo. if you re not bound for tokyo, now is the time to get off the plane. if there wasn t anything nefarious which you say there wasn t, did he wander onto the wrong jet bridge? and i don t want to speculate. as you point out, not only does the pilot often say this is where we re headed but your boarding pass is scanned at the gate before you board the plane. there s that. so here s a couple things also kind of to put this in context. all nippon airlines also has a code share with united airlines. that airline can be listed. you can buy your ticket under united or you can buy it under al nippon. there was another code share with these two flights leaving at the same time from the same airport. could it be perhaps they went to the wrong gate? perhaps. i m speculating because the ....

A code share. however, there was a second flight united flight 32 departing same airport, same time, same destination, that person was probably ticketed there. so why was not determined by the flight scanner we aren t sure. because that is tied into tsa and the japanese government computers instantly. so when that passenger did not match the manifest, how long did it take to find it out? who figured it out? why weren t they figured out earlier? it s serious when that scanner that we rely on didn t apparently work. rick: i could have sworn i heard you say it was jazzel was the arena they turned that plane around? no, i didn t say, no. they turned it the flight crew decided to turn it around. no. i guess i was talking too fast. ....
