The airline is telling us this morning that during the flight the cabin crew became aware that one of the passengers boarded the incorrect flight and notified the pilot. as part of the airline security procedure, the pilot in command decided to return to the only nating airport where the passenger was disembarked. an aviation source tells me this is being characterized as an administrative mix-up. we strcht don t know what sort of mix-up, despite we all know that when you travel your boarding pass is it scanned. the airlines, they do have a code share agreement. on this particular flight it was ana 175, also coded as united flight 7129. there was also another code share with another airline that ....

Administrative mix-up resolved. the scanner, when you check in is supposed to be programmed to screen passengers for every flight and tells the gate agent with a red light and buzzer, not a beep, not to board the passenger. that didn t happen, don t know why. that unauthorized passenger had a united taken. a & a and united are part of star alliance. they are the same flight, same plane, code share. there was a united flight departing to tokyo at the same time. it s possible the passenger was confused and the computer didn t catch the error or the gate agent let him on and failed to make the change, we don t know. you are a pilot. this isn t supposed to happen. this is not a small error. it is tied into security computers so bad people don t get on planes. a super screw up. jon: william, thank you. ....

Evidence that you ve got a valid visa to go with the travel document, in order to even get the boarding pass and ever board that aircraft. that s something that the government of china is going to have to reveal, the issuance of their visa, where did that occur? was that in a particular embassy or consulate around the world, that the visa was issued? and that would have meant they would have had those two passports in their hands, and they would have been in a position to make an inquiry with the various databases, such as interpol, to determine if those passports were stolen s so that adds to the mystery. seven passengers apparently booked code share flight, that flight was a code share with china southern airlines, and of the seven passengers, the two stolen passports were being used by two of the passengers. so that adds a new dimension to trying to do investigation in china as to how the visas were issued, and where they were issued. and how helpful might any kind of surveillance ....
