The ground and beaten. Reporter howard spoke to us via skype. Hed just given a commencement speech at san jose state on may 24th. Howard says when an officer told him he was ignorant, things got out of control. Its been tragic, ive had a lot of trauma, and, you know, ive cried. Ive cried my tears. Reporter San Jose Police say they do not comment on any internal affairs investigations. Worried nothing would come out of that investigation, howard approached the Lawyers Committee for civil rights in San Francisco, which filed a formal complaint against the department.
