The death toll from a series of tornadoes in the southeast that touched down wednesday has risen to 17. 7. Two more bodies were found in mississippi, bringing the states total victims to 10. Seven more people died in two different states, including 6 in tennessee. Laststight, a tornado touched down in birmingham, alabana, but fortunately there was not a lot of damage there. In california, a large brush fire that broke out last night is threatening dozens of hohos. In some parts of the area, major highways had to be shut down, and residents are being evacuated.
