The festival is back for its third year.

ʔəm̓i ce:p xʷiwəl is a festival celebration of Indigenous culture and community presented by the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) -- on whose territory the Chan Centre and UBC are located. The 2023 festival will be hosted by Musqueam's Miss Christie Lee, and will feature Indigenous artists, singers, speakers and dancers, woven throughout the programming. Unceded Airwaves is hosted by the Indigenous Collective at CiTR. As a weekly radio show, we aim to showcase the diversity and brilliance of Indigenous cultures while highlighting influential Indigenous kin. We recognize that media has often been used as a tool to subordinate or appropriate Indigenous voices and we are committed to subverting these dynamics.
