'No proclamation' for BSKE bets with pending DQ cases

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has suspended the proclamation of winning Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) candidates with pending disqualification case. This is in accordance with Memorandum 231111, which states that the Commission has resolved to suspend the proclamation of named respondents with pending petitions to deny due course or to cancel certificate of candidacy; to declare a nuisance candidate; and for disqualification until further orders from the Commission. ....

Comelec to BSKE bets: Follow campaign rules

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) urges candidates in the upcoming Brangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) to strictly follow campaign guidelines and rules in order to avoid any prohibited activities, such as vote buying, vote selling, and distribution of gifts and food during and after campaign sorties or meetings. Candidates are also reminded that they are not allowed to incentivize or give gifts to livestream audiences during their e-rallies and live streaming on social media platforms.
