PORTSMOUTH — Through bleaker times and no matter the weather, food and fellowship have been a weekly constant in town thanks to hot and hearty community meals provided by Common Table.  Each Thursday morning, even amid the ongoing pandemic, a group of between 15 to 20 local volunteers set up shop at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Chapel Street and prepare free bagged lunches for the community.
