Heritage, culture, and the fight for equality. Visible lgbt role models are critical to the growing understanding of the Gay Community in the bay area and across the globe. We recently talked with Assembly Member evan low of campbell about his perspectives on being out in politics. I feel like weve come a long way. I would say that when i first ran for office, i felt a deep pain in my heart when asked if i was lgbt.
