The Rev. Tyler C. Millner Sr., pastor of Martinsville’s Morning Star Holy Church for the past 33 years, will deliver his final sermon on Sunday, Dec. 31.
The Rev. Tyler C. Millner, 77, recently retired as pastor of Martinsville's Morning Star Holy Church after nearly 33 years. He leaves in his wake a half-century of civic engagement in his native Martinsville and in Richmond, where he spent two decades as project director for Richmond's Community Learning Week, which became a national model for celebrations of the life and legacy of King.
