We begin tonight with an attorney general who sounded like he was speaking as the president s personal lawyer, not the countrys attorney. In his first public testimony since the release of the Mueller Report, barr repeatedly backed up the president s talking points about the russia investigation and backed up the president s mischaracterizations of muellers findings.
