Phillip Pless, of Newfane, N.Y., shot this monster 18-point buck Nov. 8 in Niagara County. The deer is a new state bow hunting record for a buck with a non-typical rack.

Phillip Pless and his wife were busy moving furniture around their living room when this reporter called.
They were deciding where the trophy mount of the big buck that Pless shot Nov. 8 with his bow on private land in Niagara County would go. He explained they have a small home and this mount was special and would need some space. ....
