JAMA Highlights Success of BrainScope's EEG-based Concussion Index As Reliable Indicator of Concussion

Validation of a Machine Learning Brain Electrical Activity-Based Index to Aid in Diagnosing Concussion Among Athletes, a ground-breaking study on the accuracy of the BrainScope FDA-cleared biomarker, the Concussion Index, to indicate the likelihood and severity of concussive brain injury and to aid in evaluating an athlete s readiness to return to play.  
What this shows us is that for the first time we have a point of care and objective marker that can rapidly identify the likelihood of concussive injury and can be used to follow patients from baseline through recovery, said lead author Dr. Jeffrey Bazarian, Department of Emergency Medicine, University of Rochester School of Medicine. Exposed Email Logs Show 8kun Owner in Contact With QAnon Influencers and Enthusiasts


A mail server vulnerability has publicly exposed more than a year’s worth of email logs, as well as highlighted security and infrastructure issues, faced by the administrators and maintainers of controversial websites such as 8kun.
The logs, which were publicly visible before the vulnerability was patched last month, show thousands of email contacts made by 8kun administrators as well as by an address that appears to belong to 8kun owner Jim Watkins.
While it is possible to see who is emailing who and when in the logs, it is not possible to view the contents of emails.
The logs show admin accounts for the likes of 8kun and “Is It Wet Yet” (IIWY), the parent company of 8kun which is also owned by Watkins, engaging with a variety of email addresses. Many appear to show internal communications but others show contacts with apparent commercial partners and a variety of outside addresses. There are also one-off contacts with at least two law enforcement agencies. ....

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Dec. 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ On December 29, 2020 the U.S. Army announced Vectrus Systems Corp., Colorado Springs, Colorado, was awarded an $882,485,046 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for operation, maintenance, and defense of Army communications with an estimated completion date of Dec. 26, 2025.
