RES gets green light for 36MW Northern Irish project

RES has received planning consent for the 36MW Corlacky Hill Wind Farm, near Swatragh, Northern Ireland.
The eleven-turbine project, backed by the Department for Infrastructure, will inject approximately £10.7m (€12.5m) into the economy through construction.
RES' senior project development Fiona Stevens said: "Renewable energy is central to our Green Economic Recovery in Northern Ireland. We’re thrilled that the Department for Infrastructure has recognised this and supported the wind farm based on the significant benefits associated with the project.
"Corlacky Hill will help us achieve the rapid energy transition required, with the electricity produced able to supply approximately 29,000 households with clean, low cost electricity."
