BBQ eatery in Hamburg Township launches during pandemic
Over the years, Cornell Clark has gotten good at cooking barbecue, but he said he doesn't expect to ever outdo his father's ribs. "When I was younger, I was watching Dad barbecue, and he was the chef and I was the taster," Clark said. "As I got older, I put my own spin on the recipes," he said. "I got a weird thing where I can taste it before I cook it." Clark, 50, started a barbecue restaurant and catering business, The Smoke Doctor, in Hamburg Township, where he lives, last February before the pandemic hit. He plans to launch a new mobile food trailer this spring.
