Nigeria Customs Hand Over 6,240 Explosives Intercepted On Highway To Secret Police, DSS In Kebbi

  The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Kebbi Area Command, has handed over to the Department of State Services (DSS) 6,240 dynamites it intercepted in 2022 along Yauri-Jega Road in the state.   According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the Area Comptroller of the command, Mr Iheanacho Ernest- Ejike made this known while handing over the items to the DSS in the state, on Thursday in Birnin Kebbi.

Nigerian Second Republic Lawmaker, Alhaji Sidi Ali Dies At 86

    A former federal lawmaker, Alhaji Sidi Ali, is dead. Ali was a veteran journalist and a lawmaker in the Second Republic. He was 86 years old. The elder statesman died on Thursday evening in Kano. The death of the chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) and a member of the party’s Elders Committee in Kano State was confirmed by Senator Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker in a post on his official Facebook page on Thursday night.

    A Moroccan man who stabbed a passerby to death in the street in northeast England has been found guilty of murder on Thursday.   According to prosecutors, Ahmed Alid, 45, who had sought asylum in Britain, killed his 70-year-old victim after approaching him from behind on a road in Hartlepool in the early hours of October 15 last year.
