PAHO hands over US$264,472 worth of equipment to SVG PAHO Country Programme Specialist for SVG, Nicole Slack-Liburd hands over equipment to SVG’s Minister of Health St Clair Prince Social Share The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is continuing to provide “tremendous” support to St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), the most recent being a symbolic handover of US$264,472 worth of equipment to combat Covid-19 and Dengue. “Our support is reflective of our mandate to provide assistance to member countries, including St Vincent and the Grenadines, to enable them to strengthen health systems and respond to emergencies and disasters,” the PAHO Country Programme Specialist for SVG, Nicole Slack-Liburd summarized during brief remarks at the handover ceremony this Wednesday, December 10, at the Ministry of Health (MOH) conference room.
