Until the work is complete only pedestrians, cyclists and buses can cross the bridge. Heres the latest on the work. The project involves placing 3500 steel clad concrete blocks to separate the north and southbound lanes. More than 80 of those blocks are now in place and bridge Officials Say the project is on schedule. They anticipate a first run of the zipper truck tonight the truck that places the blocks.
