Polk State College to hold graduations May 6-7
The ceremonies will feature remarks from Polk State President Angela Garcia Falconetti; Spring 2021 Distinguished Alumnus Dan Dorrell, a member of the Polk State District Board of Trustees; and T. Michael Stavres, 2020 Distinguished Alumnus and Deputy City Manager of Winter Haven. Polk State conferred a total of 2,713 degrees and certificates in 2020. The spring 2021 graduating class is comprised of 1,271 students. Of those, 89% are Polk County residents, with graduates also coming from Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virgini...
