The True Face of the North Face - Vimarsana News

The True Face of the North Face

The True Face of the North Face On 3/16/21 at 6:03 PM EDT It started with a nice gesture. Adam Anderson, the CEO of Innovex Downhole Solutions, wanted to buy his employees a Christmas gift. So he ordered 400 North Face jackets and asked that their corporate logo be included. Then came the bad news. The North Face company would sell Innovex the jackets but wouldn't include the energy company's logo. The reason? Innovex was an oil and gas company, and it would be a bad thing for North Face's public image to associate itself with the industry. Not happy with that answer, Anderson struck back wit...

Oil, gas spills down in state last year

Reported oil and gas spills declined considerably last year in Colorado, state data shows. Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission data indicates companies reported 476 spills last year, down from 639 in 2019. The group Center for Western Priorities says that 349 of last year’s spills involved new releases, as opposed to companies reporting what are referred to as historic spills that occurred earlier but they only discovered last year. Nobody, though, can say the former House speaker from Boulder hasn’t delivered on what she went to Denver to do, when she was elected to the legislature in 2012. Colorado is harvesting the fruit of her political labor on climate change at the moment, and it merits recognition. Politics has a short memory. How we got here also might give us a sense of where we’re going. I’ll start at the beginning. The real beginning. When she was a teenager, Becker came west to...

Colorado Oil & Gas Taunts The North Face At Mock Award Ceremony

Colorado Oil & Gas Taunts The North Face At Mock Award Ceremony CBS Denver 3/5/2021 Syndicated Local – CBS Denver DENVER (CBS4)– The North Face is being celebrated by the very industry it snubbed. The Colorado-based company recently rejected an order for 400 jackets from a Texas oil and gas company because it reportedly didn’t want to be associated with an industry that doesn’t meet its brand standards. © Provided by CBS Denver (credit: CBS) Ironically, the jackets and almost every product The North Face produces and sells is made with nylon, polyester and polyuret...
