Plenty has been written and said about the challenges of disrupting the convoluted U.S. health care system, but in the last five years, new entrants like Amazon, CVS, Walmart, Uber, Best Buy, and Google have already begun reshaping preventive care and primary care and are poised to move into high-acuity specialty and surgical care, forcing traditional health care systems to adapt quickly.
