Rush, In Memoriam I was pre-recording last night’s Dan Proft Show yesterday morning when we got word of Rush Limbaugh’s death. We were almost finished, but I used the last short segment to pay a spontaneous tribute to Rush’s career and influence. I didn’t say anything that many others haven’t said as well or better, but I thought I would post it for any readers who may be interested in hearing it:

Back In the U.S.S.R.? Guest hosting the Dan Proft Show on Wednesday, one of my guests was New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz. Our topic was the stultifying reign of cancel culture that threatens to make free speech obsolete. (See also Scott’s post this morning, How to Read a Society.) During our conversation, I learned that Karol was born in the U.S.S.R. and came to America as a young girl. What she sees today in the U.S. is, she thinks, troublingly similar to the oppression that her parents fled in Russia. Here is the interview:
How Much Voter Fraud Was There? Over the next few years, books will be written about the 2020 presidential election. Some will argue that the Democrats stole the election through widespread voter fraud. Others will argue that while safeguards were lax and there was a good bit of fraud, Joe Biden would have won the election anyway.
