Deerfield, Riverwoods groups rejoice after petition withdrawn
Bridge Industrial has pulled its plans to annex the Baxter headquarters site into Deerfield and redevelop it into an industrial business park after massive opposition from residents of Deerfield, Riverwoods and Northbrook. A Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Thursday that was expected to draw hundreds was called off.
