Colo. OKs $275K Settlement For Ski Resort's Snowmaker Spill

State officials have signed off on a deal to have ski resort company Vail Corp. pay $275,000 to settle allegations of ecological damage caused by an accidental release of about 2 million gallons of water from the company's snowmaking system into a nearby creek in September 2021, the Office of the Colorado Attorney General announced Wednesday.
