The New York Giants' season is going to end on Jan. 7. Their hopes of second straight postseason berth under Brian Daboll were extinguished during a Christmas Day loss at Philadelphia. New York fell to 5-10. The Giants had little chance of making the playoffs after winning two of their first 10 games. A three-game winning streak led by Tommy DeVito provided a spark, but now that's over. DeVito was benched against the Eagles. New York will finish the season with home games against the Rams and Eagles.

New York's 2-8 start certainly didn't help, even though undrafted free agent quarterback Tommy DeVito gave to the team a flicker of hope by leading it on a late three-game winning streak.
