Dog seized during robbery search in Coachella dies An 8-month-old English bulldog retrieved from a Coachella property that was being searched in connection with a robbery has died, a Riverside County Animal Services spokesperson said. The dog was retrieved from the property in the 83-000 block of Calle Colima on Wednesday night and died Thursday morning, animal services spokesperson John Welsh said. Dog found in hot car surrounded by frozen foods Officials were left stunned when they found a dog inside a hot car parked at the Living Desert in Palm Desert Thursday afternoon. The dog was in a crate that was filled with frozen foods, like burritos, drumsticks and ice cream. A Palm Desert Police Officer assisted Animal Services Officer Daniel Mora by opening the vehicle to retrieve the dog.
