State’s Attorney Jaymi Sterling announced today Cherron Montril Waul, 46, of Great Mills, Maryland, was convicted of first-degree murder for the brutal slaying of a 33-year-old St. Mary’s County man that occurred on February 3, 2022.“ This horrific attack was pre-meditated and calculated,” “The Defendant lured the victim from his home to a secluded area near Great Mills High School, where he unsparingly stabbed the victim nineteen times and ultimately killed him.”
