Short-term rentals in Canada are growing — and fast. A Statistics Canada study found that the rentals — commonly booked through online platforms like Airbnb, VRBO and Booking.com — are bringing in more revenue. But is the country and its cities doing enough to tackle some of the unintended consequences on the housing market?
