I tried to grab him but he ran. I chased him a little bit and he got away. Reporter that is when the kids father came down the street. She started hugging me. I walked towards her dad and they reunited with the father. Reporter minutes later lee spotted the suspect near the metro station. He called police. Luckily an offduty Police Officer was nearby and helped detain him until police arrived. All the credit and our thanks go to this Good Samaritan who did a phenomenal job.
