NANTUCKET — Light pollution on Nantucket has increased by 2.4% each year since 2012, according to data obtained by satellites. So that means there is 22% more light pollution on the island today than just nine years ago. A group of year-round and seasonal residents has started Nantucket Lights, a new citizen advocacy group, to try to do something about that.
