My (tea) cup runneth over
I've been invited to tea with my "sisters." My P.E.O. sisters. They're a fascinating group. We share an interest in advocating for educational opportunities for women. I love the elegance of formal teas. It's the one time I don't dread dressing up and minding my manners. I've enjoyed participating in an actual tea ceremony in Japan, dining at tea houses around the U.S., and I hope one day to munch on cucumber sandwiches during afternoon tea in London. Of course, the P.E.O. tea will be virtual. We'll be in our own homes, sipping tea from our own cups while connected through Zoom.
