In 2023 I set a goal of watching as many movies as possible, in particular a lot of classics I’d never seen before. While I fell far short of watching one film a day, I did manage to watch a total of 234 different films in 2023 (and a few I saw more than once). Partially inspired by British film director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Baby Driver), I decided to log every film I watched. At the end of each year Wright posts to Instagram a list of all the films he watched in the previous 12 months.
