Three organizations helping provide relief to residents in Jamaica Plain during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have received funding through the Boston Resiliency Fund’s grant program to continue their work in the neighborhood.  The First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain, Hyde Square Task Force and Rose’s Bounty all received part of the $780,000 in funding to 39 organizations in Boston. Rose’s Bounty requests donations Community Content Rose’s Bounty Food Pantry in West Roxbury is aiming to assist more families than ever as food insecurity increases in the region and federal programs such as the Farmers to Families Food Box are slated to end. The party is requesting volunteers and donations. The Stratford Street United Church opened Rose’s Bounty in 2016 as its major mission of working to address food insecurity.
