Welsford fire Chief Dave MacCready said the crash happened near marker 63 at the north end of the Welsford bypass. MacCready said emergency crews were called to the scene between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Monday, The highway was closed for several hours and reopened just before 7 a.m., he said.
