The United Way of the Eastern Upper Peninsula is hosting a used cell phone donation drive through the end of March. The phones collected will benefit those in recovery at the great lakes recovery center as well as other clients seeking help from other organizations. Food pantry to be hosted for Chippewa County residents Contributed CHIPPEWA COUNTY — The United Way of the Eastern Upper Peninsula will be hosting a drive-thru mobile pantry for Chippewa County residents.  The pantry will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the New Horizons Church of the Nazarene, located at 401 M-129 in Pickford. Volunteers will place food items in the trunks of cars. Those who are interested in this pantry must have room in their trunk for the items as volunteers will not make room.
