Joanne Thomasson McGowan was born on February 29, 1932, and died peacefully on August 20, 2023. She was born in Rison, Arkansas, and was preceded in death by her parents, B. W Thomasson and Iliff Powers Thomasson, and her beloved husband, James Mc-Gowan. She leaves behind her two sons, Mike McGowan (Karen) and his daughters, Madison (Justin) and Mackenzie; and Bill McGowan (Teresa), his two daughters, Lauren (Chuck) and Katie (Norman), and a great grandson, Zeke.
