In response to Joshua Wanisko’s letter regarding my comments about a “library website” and the fear-mongering carried out by a group of individuals who constantly create issues rather than solve them, I can only make this statement: It’s an election year.
I’m sure we can expect even more letters from the names associated with his group.
In his letter, Wanisko failed to identify himself as a member of the Phillipsburg Democratic Committee for District 5, Ward 1, and failed to mention that the library site referenced is not sponsored by the Phillipsburg Free Public Library at all. In fact, it’s operated by his fellow committee member and Treasurer, David Morrisette. ....

Phillipsburg Town Council this week shook off opposition from residents and voted unanimously to denounce New Jersey COVID-19 mitigation strategies.
The all-Republican council unanimously passed a resolution accusing Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy “under the pretense of public safety” of having “deprived New Jersey citizens of the right to pursue safety and happiness; to worship in the manner most agreeable to him or her; and to assemble in the manner of their own choosing . .” ....
