Nevada lost 2,900 jobs in April, Carson City 200 alone; Unemployment rates still low compared to 2022
According to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s (DETR) April 2023 economic report, Nevada lost 2,900 jobs over the month. Employment is up 61,600 jobs since April 2022, an annual increase of 4.2 percent. The total employment level in the state is 1,540,300.
