New Jersey Man Charged with Insurance Fraud for Rate Evasion After Van Accident

A New Jersey man has been charged with insurance fraud after an investigation revealed he failed to pay the correct premiums to insure his commercial vehicle and deprived his employees of proper insurance coverage.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes announced the arrest of Densy Hidalgo, age 50, of Passaic, New Jersey, for insurance fraud, a third degree crime.
The investigation was conducted by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Insurance Fraud Unit. It revealed that a commercial van registered to Hidalgo’s company D.H. Transportation was involved in a motor vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike, in which personal injuries were sustained. ....
