About seven in 10 of the 37 percent of members who voted backed the resolution. A similar measure in 2016, with half of AAA members voting, failed. The members of the American Anthropological Association have endorsed a resolution to boycott Israeli academic institutions. An all-member referendum took place from June 15 to July 14, and the results were announced today.
