They showed a mock of the net that would sit 20 feet below and 20 feet out of the sidewalk. The scrubs of the net itself is going well. The problem is with the installation on the bridge. The original company was acquired by another company that he said struggled with the transition. Now instead of being up by january 2021, the suicide net probably wont be fully installed until 2023. Our message to families that have lost a loved one here is to know that the bridge cares, that were committed to saving lives. Weve increased the staff along the sidewalks, vigilant with our controls, stopped a lot of people. We recognize every day without this barrier is a potentia ....
