Reshaping the typical college internship has long been an important aspect of the University of Central Missouri’s nationally recognized Missouri Innovation Campus program. Strengthening the internship commitment was recommended by the MIC’s business partners when the program began in 2012 and has continued to be a key advantage for both students and companies.
Since its launch over a decade ago, the Missouri Innovation Campus program has been recognized for successfully connecting businesses to a trained workforce. To make sure coursework aligns with workplace needs, MIC program instructors collaborate with business partners on a regular basis to develop and review competencies for each degree program.
