Buckeyes Set for Big Ten Indoor Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s and women’s track and field programs will travel about three hours away this week, just northeast of Cleveland to Geneva, Ohio, to compete in the  2021 Big Ten Conference indoor track and field championships. The Thursday-through-Saturday championships will be held for the eighth time at the SPIRE Institute. Women Swimmers & All Divers at Big Ten Championships

Ohio State Coaches Bill Dorenkott is in his 13th year at Ohio State and his fourth year as director of men’s and women’s swimming and diving. His 2019-20 women’s team won the Big Ten championship while the men were runner-up. Dorenkott was named the Big Ten women’s swimming coach of the year, an honor he also won in 2005 while at Penn State. Dorenkott spent 10 seasons as head coach of the Penn State women’s program led them to three Big Ten championships: 2002, 2005 and 2006.
