The Delhi High Court on Tuesday rejected a plea filed by Disha Ravi, an accused in the 'farmers' toolkit case', to modify a bail condition that requires her to get court permission every time she wishes to travel abroad.

Earlier in the day, a Delhi sessions court granted her bail on two sureties of Rs 1 lakh each. “I am happy that she got bail.It has reinforced our faith in the system,” Ravi’s mother Manjula told reporters in Bengaluru, the activist’s hometown. Asserting that Ravi had done nothing wrong, Manjula expressed her gratitude to all those who stood by her daughter, PTI reported.
Disha Ravi Toolkit Case Latest Updates: Disha Ravi, 21, was arrested from Bengaluru on February 13. She was first sent to five-day custody, and later to three-day judicial custody which ended on Monday.
The activist had argued that the ‘toolkit’ was merely a resource document and not seditious, while the police had claimed she was part of a ‘sinister plan’.
