Students take to streets over delayed NSFAS payments

Delayed NSFAS payments have angered a group of Walter Sisulu University students, who closed off a part of Oxford Street on Tuesday morning to show their desperation. Students have blamed NSFAS’s new payment system for months of non-payments, while others received an October monthly meal allowance of R825 instead of R1,650.
