People who lived on the opposite side of the river in louisiana. This is structure was donated to us about ten years ago, by the descendants and the original founders of that congregation. They bought the land in 1870. Two parcels of land, for the express purpose of building a house of worship. In the seal document, which we have in the courthouse, they named their structure, their congregation the anti yoke baptist congregation.
