Equity is fine in terms of the equal outcomes and at all costs getting rid of honors. it s such a great thing, equity and equality of opportunity are two different points. they are eliminating ap courses which means high achieving students can t take the courses anymore. an english course you want your daughters to be part of. why doesn t the school or have the teachers approached the school and say give extra tutoring to the students falling behind? they are limiting honors but the honors courses, one are for ap courses so it s empowering the students, they are not going to be able to perform when they do go in the ap courses and this is for many parents, why can t we provide extra support for the kids struggling? ....
